I think I’d need a checkbox thingy to calculate this stuff. Too painful actually just trying to read down the list for each item.

I started keeping a separate text file a couple of years ago, and every time I add a new friend I add them to the list. I have all the categories listed at the top so I can easily see which ones to mark for each person. Unfortunately for being able to keep track of these things, my LJ list is full of people I don’t remember when I first met :/

I can however tell that of the 397 distinct people on my friends list (some people have multiple journals, this helps me count them once each), I have been to the homes of 161 of them. Or, if you add dorm rooms and temporary abodes, I have been to the homes of 201 of them.

See, my problem wouldn’t be remembering to add people, it’d be updating them as updates became appropriate.

Re: “bloody hell I’m a slut”

On my friends list, there are 161 people who I’d do. That’s out of 397 total, but when you consider that I’m straight, it’s really out of 255 (the females). I’m apparently about 15% more slut than you (when correcting for orientation) 🙂 Although most of my “would do” are “would do if they took the initiative”. If I were only counting the ones I’d likely decide to pursue if circumstances were right, it’d be a smaller set.

BTW, what’s your definition of “snogged”?
