So I was feeling a wee bit claustrophobic about the whole “no free Saturday until June” thing.
So I looked at the course offerings again. They added new classes. During the week. I am not giving up a single weekend day! YAYYY!!!
Very exciting.
I now have free weekend days. w00t!
I also finished my taxes: nothing back. I guess I didn’t make enough money. Oh well.

It is for both special ed and gifted. I think the class is going to suck. How to make everyone exactly the same. Ew.
AKA how to make everyone bored to tears.
I hate that sort of thing. I ran into it with my DS. He was doing great in math until they decided that kids “learn division differently so we should teach *lots* of ways to do division” and he ended up so overwhelmed and confused that he couldn’t do division *at all*. I sat down with him, worked through the problems and showed him *one* way to do it. And I told him that if his teacher gave him any problems, to let me know. He was happy and able to do his math again.
Mind you – he has Aspergers Syndrome so is fine with learning how to do something but not with *8* ways to do it. I still think it’s too much for *any* student though – give them a chance to learn it one way. Then, if they’re having trouble show some alternate ways to get through to that specific student…
Anyways, sorry to bother you about this…

Y’know, when you said all your Saturdays were booked, you never said it was with school. Here I was thinking you had an AMAZING social life, instead of only a busy one.

Sheesh. I’m not that popular. And the Saturdays I do have booked out that far are for big parties or birthday parties. Not dates. 😛
