I keep having the same impulse lately, and I think it’s a good thing. Eventually I’ll get up the guts to do the same myself=)

    *hugs*

It isn’t easy. Cause then you get angsty emails about “OHMYGOD how did I offend you?!!?!?!” No one offended me… I just feel like I want my journal to be read only by people who are actually part of my life…

I agree with that…. my journal was like that for a really long time, and then people started adding me like crazy, and I felt guilty not adding them back. And then you have drama and emotional stress from people you don’t even really know, which is silly. I think it’s good to limit some things to the people who are actually *there* in more than an electronic way.

Good luck making the transition…. don’t let anyone make you feel like you have to share your life with them. That’s your choice and your right to keep it simpler.

Well, from a brief look at your nick and journal I have no idea who you are. I try not to add people that I have never met. Thus: I don’t think you are someone that I cut. If that sounds harsh… uhm. Oops.

yeah, ‘friending’ dynamics are overrated. Actually, I think it’s unfortunate that livejournal + other sites call it a ‘friends’ list.

I figured, in the least, I didn’t know you well enough to bother taking it personally. 🙂

    Hope you’re doing well.
