Here comes Santa Clause…

Last night we were lying in bed talking about what we each want from Christmas and one of my things was that I am going to miss is watching the cartoon Christmas movies that my mom has. 🙁 Noah, being Noah, said: “Hey! We could check Amazon…” Dude. I’ve never gotten out of bed so fast. I RAN to the living room and we looked up several of my favorites. We found most of them, two not being available, and I am SO excited. We are going to have the Trolls and the Christmas Express!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE

He’s a good husband. 🙂

Speaking of Christmas: how many of you are going to be sticking around town this Christmas? Who’s going away?

Speaking of, when I was in Costco last week they had bundles of DVD Christmas claymation and cartoon classics. I don’t remember which were bundled (I was striving to only buy from my list) but if you’d like I can check it out for you tomorrow.

My housemate wants to host her family at the house for Xmas so, if I’m in town, I’m probably gonna look for some way to be out of the house. Not that I don’t appreciate being with her family, more because I’m just not into celebrating Xmas. Although, if I can figure it out in terms of scheduling, I may fly back east to be with my family. Shudder … it’s more a function of not seeing them in a long time. They are the reason I really don’t like Christmas.

    I’ll be around.
Hrm, that reminds me it’s past time to post my birthday/nye party announcement, people are probably already booked – but as always, my birthday party is new year’s eve.

A happy childhood now makes for a happy adultry later. Or, um, something like that. 🙂

Anyway, I’ll be here for Christmas, but I’ll be at Dickens on the weekends preceeding it.

    Have you seen…

    “Olive, The Other Reindeer”?

It came out a few years ago, starring the voice of Drew Barrymore, and it’s very funny and I think you’d like it.

(Also, I’ll probably be in town over the holidays, especially if you have cookies!)

Do you remember my cookies? I haven’t made them in a few years. Noah has never had the experience. 🙂

      There will definately be cookies.

      And the movie sounds cute.

Yes, I definitely remember your cookies. You made them for a party jess’a and I came to a year or two back. They were yummy and made a lasting impression. Especially the chocolate ones with white chocolate chips.

If I can get there sometime during the holidays, I’ll try to rent Olive and bring it over. It _is_ tres cute.

I’ll be around. We’ll even be having a holiday house warming in early December.

Seems like I ought to have more of my furniture by then…

I will be in town xmas & new year. (probably Terpsichoros too, but I’m not going to speak for him.)

Dickens obligations OWN our weekends through Dec 23.

We have family stuff directly on xmas and NY day; NYE is dancing at the FNW ball.

I haven’t figured out if/when I’ll go to Iowa to see my parents – I just know it will be after xmas/new year.
