Livid (school)

My sub on Friday fucked with my classes. I am so pissed. She didn’t follow my lesson plans because she didn’t feel she had enough control over the classes. Excuse me, cunt? She also collected all of their work so I could verify who was working enough. Uhm… everything stays in their folders on purpose. Their work is checked without you increasing my paper-pile-headache.

I hate being absent.

A lot of the reason I am mad is that I have worked very hard to make my class a well oiled machine. My babies were upset that she messed with our routine and I had a time trying to talk them out of being nasty to her when they see her on campus. I had prepared four kids for very specific leadership roles and this woman was rude to them and that just isn’t acceptable. She told my kids that she talked to me and that *I* decided that things would go better if she just ran everything. They were hurt and felt betrayed when I got back today. I think that is something worth being upset about. At the least I am going to be talking to the district about her behavior; she was on her cell phone talking to people through most of the class period in each freaking period and she lied to my kids about my directions. That’s unacceptable.

I like subs who do as they are asked. It’s good. 🙂

oh, that’s *way* different than ignoring your lesson-plan.

i’d be pissed off too at having trust destroyed.

i think your kids should look at her with crossed eyes everytime they see her.

        yep. civil, yet annoying.
