Due to turning in my transcripts (oops) and the renegotiated contract, I get a $9,000 raise this year.
Holy shit. That’s around a 20% raise. I don’t know where around because my brain hurts and math is hard.

YAAAAAY!
And you totally deserve it. *hugs*
Yay!!!!!
“Math is hard” always reminds me of the BLO = Barbie Liberation Organization. Do you know it it? I wonder if it’s out on You Tube….they substituted voice boxes from GI Joe into Barbie dolls and vice versa, returned them to the stores and got sold so GI Joe was saying “Math is hard” and “I love shopping” while Barbie said stuff like “Let’s clear out the enemies!”
Yay more money! You totally deserve it! Teachers, nurses, cops, and firefighters should get more than politicians and doctors.
Totally hard. 🙂
And here I was just thinking… math is only hard for you because you’re a girl.
But maybe it’s only hard because of Barbie.
you got hired without them having your transcripts?
*hand to forehead*
They had a copy of my diploma, so they knew I had a BA. They didn’t know about all the post-BA masters classes that give me extra money.
I’m just thinking about that woman, I believe she was a dean, at MIT who it turned out had falsified her paperwork, and thinking, “and we wonder how that happens.”
*hugs* good on you!
That is the best raise I have ever heard of from a real person I know. Sweet indeed. 🙂
Congrats!
huzzah!
um…
can we borrow some money?
Happy birthday a bit early, beautiful lady. I wish you all the joy you can handle. *hugs*
