Is anyone going up to Manda and Tristan’s wedding this weekend? Uhm, obviously I mean is anyone from my friends list. I’m sure they have friends, I just don’t know how well we will overlap. I’m curious cause I’ve never been to Camp & Sons before and it would be awesome to have someone show me around without having to be you know, gregarious or outgoing or something ridiculous like that.
And they have outlets, right? I won’t have to try and blow up the air mattress with my lungs? 🙂
we were planning on going, but illness may keep us from going. Will decide later in the week.
WOuld be our first time too, so can’t help much with the orientation. Pretty sure there’s no electricity though, unless you bring it (batteries or generator or solar).
And I suck, I forgot to call you on your birthday. Happy belated bday!
xo
Bummer. Who’s sick?
Liam is. He wasn’t going to camp & sons anyway but this may just have a knock-on effect on the whole week.
I am not going, due to scheduling with kids and such. But you will have a wonderful time. There are refrigerators, outlets and cooking gear/plates/utensils at the kitchen.
If you like quiet, camp up in the orchard, but that’s more of a hike. If you want close, then camp around the pond, but be aware that it is a sound/echo chamber. Up by the front gate might be an option as it is all flat and relatively quiet, depending on who camps where. But, the bathrooms are up in the orchard or near the front gate, so that will be part of your consideration, I am sure.
Thanks for the recommendation.
I’m going…
Cool. Do you know about when ya’ll plan to head up?
Departing Mountain View at 4:30. A brief stopover in SF to pick someone up then heading up…
Terry and I will be there, though I have to admit that I don’t think Tristian and I have ever met.
Well, he’s very cool. So you will probably like him.
