    That was a great video….

    *BUT*

All I kept thinking was about the Tri-Delts from college…. they were all over 5’7 and the largest one was a size 6… and her sorority sisters constantly reminded her of that in public…..

    It’s hard… we all fight it… I’ve fought it my entire life….

Not engaging in fat talk about/with others is easy.. it’s the self directed stuff that is the hardest….

I hear you. I keep looking down at Shanna knowing that I have less than a year before she really understands me. (She’ll get bits and pieces before then, but not a lot.) I don’t want her to grow up thinking of me or her as fat. That means I have to knock it off.

I can still complain that going clothes shopping is a pain because I don’t find anything I *like*. That’s not the same thing as avoiding it because of size. I’m telling you, I need to start sewing!

I’ve sent this link to my sister. She has had problems with bulimia in the past, and even now is not exactly a role model when it comes to not bringing up weight and all with her two daughters. I don’t know as it will make much of a difference, but I can at least say I let her know about it. Otherwise, she’ll be saddled with at least one miniature her (moreso than already) and that is not a great thing.
