We leave for New Zealand in 11 days. !!!! Holy Shit that’s soon!!!!
Uhm, would anyone be willing to come spend some time with Puff while we are gone? Two weeks is an awfully long time for her to not have company. Ideally if anyone is willing I would like it if someone stayed here for at least a night or two here and there in the two week period because she gets terribly lonely.
Anyone?
New Zealand info?
I’m thinking quite hard about a visit to New Zealand next spring.
Any first hand travel tips you can share after the trip would be appreciated, especially:
major costs, great things to see/do, things not worth seeing
No rush but I thought I’d say something now before you go in case that inspires you to take notes.
Sorry I’m not close enough to pet sit. In general, it is less traumatic for cats to stay put than to be taken somewhere else to be cared for. They don’t do relocation well.

Re: New Zealand info?
It’s too bad I didn’t know you wanted to go. We have an empty bedroom in the timeshare we are using. 🙂
I will certainly share whatever I find out on the trip. 🙂
Re: New Zealand info?
I can’t afford to go until next year. I’m paying off the loan I took for the down payment on my townhouse. Should have it paid off by the end of this year — so travel *next* year.
But I am interested in anything you have to share. And I think I would have enjoyed traveling with you.

If there are internets I can siphon wirelessly, I can happily give Puff some love a couple of days a week. Probably wouldn’t stay overnight, unless kidder joining me seems okay with you and him, but I could spend several hours a couple of times a week.
Of course you can have internets. 🙂 It would be great if you were here for multiple hours on multiple occasions. If you and Kidder wanted to sleep here that would be jim-dandy-fine with us. I could even change the sheets on both beds the morning before we leave so you can have options about where just in case. 🙂
