{milestones} First word?

This morning while holding a book Shanna looked up at me and said, “Booh”. I believe that was meant to be book. She continued saying it when we passed the book back and forth. I’m not 100% positive that she was doing it on purpose but I suspect she was.

I’m so excited I could pee my pants. My daughter’s first word was book. That is SO APPROPRIATE!!!

      😀

You know, it might be a good thing to see your Grandbaby more often. She’s going to be a kid before you see her again at this rate.

Very cool. Miles’s was “kitty” — well, “diddy,” actually — and Ben’s was “Thank you” (“da-tu”). “Book” is very cool indeed.

Yes, “book” is a very cool first word!

My son’s first word (at 11 months) was “_This_!!!”, always seemingly underlined and triple exclaimed, often said repetitively, “_This_!!! _This_!!! _This_!!!,” and sometimes meaning, “Look at _This_!!! It’s so cool!”, but somewhat more often meaning “_This_!!! Is what I want!”

Yeah I’ve been wondering when she would start talking. She screeches and babbles NONSTOP so I figured it would be soon. 🙂 I wonder how quickly this will turn into multiple words. *bounce*

    Yay, excitement!

I remember Kai babbling up a storm. There were a lot of things he said that I could interpret as words, but I didn’t count them until he pointed at the cat and very clearly said “meow meow”. :]
