I doubt this has anything to do with what you’re upset about…
but what the fuck is up with nurses and doctors all looking at me like i’m crazy when I say I DON’T want my son to have a vaccine?? Finally, after telling the THIRD person in a row that I WASN’T having my son vaccinated for whatever, the nurse looked at me (as she put the shot down, I’m glad I knew how many shots he was supposed to get and therefore noticed when she had one too many) she handed me a flyer and asked me if I understood what the vaccine was, and then tried to explain it. When I stated that I had done a lot of research on it myself and didn’t want him to have it at this time, she pointed at the flyer and told me to read it and then call them to make an appointment when I understood that the vaccine wouldn’t hurt him.
I. AM. NOT. AN. IDIOT.
If it wasn’t 5pm and my son wasn’t already having a meltdown, I would have lost it… but I chose grabbing my kid and leaving as soon as the shots were over.
If you are a selective vaccination family you are evil and horrible. Everyone hates you from both sides. You are just WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!!!!! Not that I’ve had this experience or anything. 🙂
(And that is totally not what is going on right now. 🙂
Thanks for knowing how I feel tho… I figured it wasn’t what was going on, but it reminded me of fury I had to let go in order to get my kid outta there faster…

At least with Doctors, as long as it isn’t a screaming emergency, you can get another opinion.
