Tired but happy

Yesterday I had the privilege of watching Mollena win the International Ms. Leather contest. She was beautiful, poised, eloquent, and thought-provoking. I am biased, of course, but I really believe she was head and shoulders above the other contestants. (Although the cell phone fantasy was awesome.) I was really glad I kept my sorry, tired ass there long enough to see her win. I’m so proud of all the work she did. 🙂

    Yay, Mo!!!

Side note: we almost traipsed down to the gym in Fremont yesterday, with the intention of surprising you with a drive-by before or after. Guess the surprise would have been on me, hunh? (And yes, I would always call first, instead of just dropping by.)

My only regret from the weekend is that I didn’t get to see much of what she did on stage. In particular, I’m really sorry I didn’t get to hear her speech. She burst into tears the moment she got off the stage, and I thought that meant that she’d fucked up. I guessed wrong.
