Melancholy but calm. I’m worn out and anxious about tomorrow. Please, please please please please let me not be picked for the “special pat down” by the TSA. I can’t go through that. I can’t.

Sending good thoughts your way that it all goes smoothly.
Best of luck. And, your hair looks great, btw! Have a good trip!
Just in case – don’t wear a skirt. Going through with a long skirt is guaranteed pat-down, as my trips to and from portland last month taught me. (they can’t see your legs, so you could be hiding anything, goes the theory. Apparently it’s a rule; they seemed irritated by it themselves.)
Already picked pants for that reason. Tight pants with a tight shirt. For all.
I’ve discovered that wearing leggings under a skirt and flashing them usually prevents this… but still, hate this rule.
I *always* get called out for special treatment.
Once, they found “bomb traces” on my carry-on handle.
I’m not sure what they’d do if I wore a skirt.
Even though I’ve very nice legs.
And there’s a long history of trouble with long skirts
