I didn’t feel like typing yesterday.
Day 12-
Breakfast: unsweetened rice cereal (to get rid of the apple juice–it’s pretty gross), almond milk, blueberries, pecans
Lunch: home made soup with turkey stock, bits of turkey, bell pepper, carrot, cabbage, bok choy, tomato, and rice
Dinner: fried potato and more stir fry.
Day 13-
Breakfast: GF English muffin with raspberry jam, fried potatoes, banana
Snack: big bowl of the turkey soup
next Snack: almond milk ice cream (I ate like 1/4 of a cup) and grapes
Lunch: GF pancakes cooked in ghee, (mix uses almond milk), with banana, pecans, maple syrup and peanut butter. This meal was the best meal I’ve eaten since the beginning of this diet. I felt really full and happy when I was done eating. It was dramatic.
Dinner: more soup.
Now on to the poop.
On day 12 I went three times. 10am, 4pm, and 7:30pm. The first was a yellow unformed cloud. The second was long, super thin like a pencil but formed! (I hear the pencil shaped ones indicate gallbladder problems. We’ll see.) That was one super green poop. Paste. The third one had the weirdest grainy texture–I don’t see poop looking like that very often. It looked like I have been out eating the sand in the sand box. It was very brown. Not real formed.
Day 13 was also a three poop day. (3 poops a day qualify as within the normal range so I can’t bitch.) 5:30am, 9am, and 6pm. The first was brown, soft, a few formed pieces and more of that weird grainy texture. Then I had a non-formed, very grainy brown paste. For the third evacuation it was pretty yellow, somewhat formed, and extremely pasty.
Also: I can see that I’ve been eating peppers, carrots, and… the food is in little obvious chunks. It’s kind of weird having brown poop with all these highlights of bright colors. I want to make artistic jokes and I gross myself out before I can finish creating them.
More formed poop. This is “progress”? Maybe? I’m not used to the grainy (or maybe I just generally don’t look that closely) but otherwise I feel like my poop patterns aren’t much different than usual. I don’t have solid poop. I have a range of yellow, green, black, brown poop and it’s usually soft and rarely a couple of small shaped pieces or a pencil like movement. This is all incredibly normal for me. But I hear it “isn’t normal”.
My GP finally made me an appointment with a specialist. I had to promise that yes I tried eating the Fiber 1 cereal and no it didn’t magically solve all of my problems. *sigh*
