I was asked recently what Miss Millie Feminism is and I thought “Hey how about if I let somebody better qualified explain it.”
I was asked recently what Miss Millie Feminism is and I thought “Hey how about if I let somebody better qualified explain it.”
This reminded me of an incident with my mom when I was young (like 9th grade). We were walking somewhere and I ran into someone I knew from school who was with their mom. The mom introduced herself to me and asked “Is that your nanny? Aren’t you kind of old for a nanny?”
I saw my mom take a deep breath then said something like “No, she’s my daughter, and she’s very proud that I won’t insult you. Aren’t you mijita.”
I bet you were proud of her. <3
Thank you for sharing. I treasure stories about your mom.
