First, I kick a kid out of school for being high. (Called the Man on him.) I felt guilty and hypocritical.
Then, during break, I discussed with a coworker what drugs we have done.

there is a right time and place for anything, no matter what your politics?
I’ve walked around naked. I love walking around naked. I walk around naked all the time. I encourage other people to walk around naked. I don’t go to work naked, and I didn’t go to school naked (although I was dared once).
This is almost exactly the point I was going to make. Whatever opinions people have about drugs, if they go to work on drugs and it’s apparent, they’ve screwed up. It’s irresponsible, and it can have serious consequences. Hopefully the kid will internalize that message at some point, because doing that as an adult will have even worse repercussions.
