Say something nice about each of the last five people you’ve “broken up with” – romantic break-ups, friendships, whatever.
See, this is the sort of meme I can really get into. 🙂 I’m including me initiating the break up and times when the other person initiated.
E: went far out of his way for me as a boyfriend and as a friend. Tolerated all the quirks I threw at him with a grin.
T: one of the best people I have ever known. He gave me the love and support I needed to grow past my childhood.
J: always willing to be supportive no matter what was happening. He likes people more than almost anyone else I’ve dated and that was neat to be around.
P: he cooked well. I just wish he had been happier about me eating the results. *sigh*
A: gave me the opportunity to find out about a part of myself I had never experienced before. I appreciate the efforts made to accompany me along such a bumpy road. 🙂
I was tempted to put Noah on here. Chronologically he is one of the last five. I decided that was cheating. 🙂
S: compassionate, generous, accepting, vulnerable, sincere, and delighted to attend to detail and create beauty in everything from a room to a scene.

G: brilliant; maelstrom of creativity; talented writer; deeply involved in everything she feels and everyone she encounters, even if briefly; serious; appreciates the theater of even the most mundane; serious; introspective; devastatingly charming
C: excellent father; solid and reliable; friendly and open; do anything for you kind of person; cheerful and fun, but quiet; excellent athlete; determined and disciplined; loved travel and the broad range of people that go with it; excellent taste in music–always had excellent, little-known finds to share

Weirdly enough, I can’t do this one. I’ve only done two actual “breakups” in my life — my first husband, and TXWSNBN. My other relationships and friendships have either sort of drifted apart without comment or drama, or stayed in my life in different form (as friendships, friendly acquaintanceships, activity buddies or whatever).

i’m gonna do romantical breakups – if i can recall from that far back…
K: one of the most naturally funny people i’ve ever known – and she didn’t even know it. always on the go and ready for the next big adventure. a wonderful cook (if you like down-home farm cooking).
M: insanely red-headed. insanely smart, a wonderful cook (if you like vegan stuff). stacked like a shit brick-house. a cool intellect with cool skin and laughing green eyes.
L: had an oh-so-lovely neck and a killer drive to succeed. always wanted to learn more about everything around her. always wanted things to be better. always up for something new.
C: smart smart smart. sexy sexy sexy. ‘way smarter and ‘way sexier than i could hold on to. loved to be still and in quiet surroundings. could sit and not say a word for hours on end.
J: kind and calm and centered and caring and talented and everything you could ever want. she “fit” when i hugged her. a simply lovely wonderful person.

as an aside, i’m reminded of the quote
“no matter how great you are somebody, somewhere, is sick of your shit.”

J- really cares about his family, and will drop everything for them when necessary
L- it isn’t his fault that I decided to fall in love with him, AFTER he met his future wife.
D- talented, professional, not afraid to stand up for himself (even though I don’t agree with him)
R- fascinating, interested in lots of the same things as me, again, not his fault I decided to fall in love with him after we moved to separate countries
J- an excellent friend. a good person. someone who i still call one of my best friends today.
I had to resist the temptation to make this about adult contents which may not be suitable for minors.

I’m going to tell you a secret. Until I come through and *respond* to your comments, only I can see them. I screen all anonymous comments because I don’t want trolls to be total assholes in threads. So 95% of your comments are never seen by anyone else.
