Filter update and psa sorts of stuff.

It seems as though baby stuff is likely to obsess me for a while to come. In addition to all of my current filters: http://rightkindofme.livejournal.com/330553.html#cutid1 (comment if you change anything) it seems like a good idea to give people the chance to opt-in rather than telling them they have to opt out of hearing about baby-babble.

Oh, I’m pregnant. 🙂 According to how such things are measured I am about five weeks pregnant. My estimated due date is Friday, May 23, 2008.

I can’t keep a secret to save my life.

It’s a mixed bag. Cause right now I am sick and exhausted. That will go away in a couple of months. But towards the end it would be very limited. 🙂

I’m so happy for both of you. Congratulations isn’t enough – some people are just destined to be amazing parents, and you know I think the world of you. Enjoy this time, you’ve really been preparing for this for a long time. Now it’s time to do what comes naturally. 😉

    Yay! And yay!

I have some more toys and things to get rid of. Plus a Diaper Champ that we used with the Tiny Tots service. If you are interested lemme know.

I also have some other toys that are good for the first year or before. Some of the stuff is big-like the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn House. Kai thought these were very fun, but now that he doesn’t use them much we could really use the space.

    And…. opt-in.

Yaaaaay! *hugs* That’s awesome! I can see both you and Noah being amazing parents:)

I’m gonna opt out of the babyfilter, though. Just not my cuppa tea.

Wow, that didn’t take long at all. I’m sorta glad, ‘cuz now I don’t have to worry about being the one who lets something slip.

I’m definitely for being on the filter, but I guess you knew that. FWIW, I’ve been grinning all day. A really big silly grin.

I’d love to hear more about your journey as a mom. It’s the closest I’ll ever get (by choice).

I’m thrilled for all of you.

And I’m counting back to when I saw you and I realize you were already on the way to being a mom then. Way cool. Meeting Noah was great. I think he’s good dad material 🙂

    Wow congrats!

And you kept the secret for a whole paragraph there. That ‘s not bad… 🙂

May babies rock! (not that I’m biased or anything)

Oh, and congrats! (I saw this first on Noah’s, so I kinda forgot that I wasn’t necessarily conveying congrats to you both when I commented there.)

Babies are almost never born on their actual due date. It can be anywhere up to three weeks early or two weeks late and still be perfectly normal. 🙂

        yeah.

        i always wondered about that.

        doc told us:
“this date, but it could be anywhere a couple weeks either side.”

        i remember thinking:
“*i* can do that good even without the 8 extra years of skool.”

First off, OMG! That worked out quick! (I haven’t been reading LJ for a while and just caught this!)

Second, yeah, TRUST ME, plan on at least a week overdue and you might not go completely insane. Anyanka was 12 days over, if you recall.

Obviously, I’d like to hear about what all is going on, and I’m happy to offer any advice you’re looking to hear.

    Hooray!

I am reading LJ intermittently, and saw a hormonally charged post which made me wonder… and sure enough, here it the announcement. Congratulations! Sure, I wouldn’t mind being opted in.
