what kind of work does she want done? I think I could ask if she does handwork… I’d imagine though, that with _that_ short a time frame, knowledge of exactly what’s wanted would help the embroiderer decide if the job is doable by then. If, f’r instance, it was just a corner of the handkerchief, or a small border, that’d be different than blackwork an inch thick all the way around, neh?
She sent me a picture with writing saying, “Father of the Bride
I’ll always be Daddy’s little girl. I love you always” Then with her name and the date.
I actually think it is kind of creepy… but I would. 😉

Given that I just ordered custom embroidery today at, of all things a gaming convention, I’m going to take that as a sign and pass along contact info. I don’t know if they can do it by Thursday, but they do nice work. I think they mostly do machine embroidery rather than handwork, but given the other sewing I saw, I suspect they’re capable of it.
