   I taught a year in China and still have connections there if you are interested. I’ve had friends who have gone to Japan and I’ve heard some good and indifferent things about it. Keep in touch where ever you go. I’d love to hear about your adventures abroad.

   Miss Mary Anne Bright (Marion) has taught in China, Turkey, and is in Ecuador. She’d probably have good contacts and information for you.

   I have a friend who is currently teaching English in Japan. She’s a British woman – about your age, come to think of it. You’d love her. I think her program is called JET – mark and I looked into it at one point. It’s definitely an experience.

   ‘s ex is currently teaching in Japan, I forget her LJ name. I SORT OF did it for a while privately.

   Be careful about it, there are a lot of sheister companies that will pay you nothing, house you badly and it will generally be a bad time. The government brings in Americans to teach english but again they pay little. Your teaching degree specializing in English should afford you better than that.

   What do you teach? I can give high recommendations for Singapore, and some contacts at a university there if it’s of interest.
