Average temperatures in January:
Spain: 9 degrees Celsius (48 degrees for us)
Germany: 1-6 degrees Celsius (33-42 degrees for us)
Ireland: 5 degrees Celsius (41 degrees for us)
So basically, our choices are cold, really cold, really cold. Hmmmmm. Well, Spain lists snow as likely and Ireland just says rain. This is going to be such a hard decision.
(I’m going to make a new picture for traveling.)
Depending on where you are in Spain, it’s my understanding that Spain has more of a nightlife than Ireland.
I lived in Sapin for a while, January was HORRIBLE. Their heating system leaves much to be desired. Here are a couple things they do to stay warm in January in Cordoba, where I lived:
Fill a large bottle with hot water. Hold in hands.
Put a long tablecloth over the table with a heater under the table. Play cards at the table.
Wear lots of sweaters.
If you want to go to Spain, go in May. Everyone’s partying, and the wildflowers are in bloom!
Spain. Not Sapin. I can’t type today!
You’ll have a good time no matter where you go doll.
I’d vote for Spain. But then again, in January I’ll be sitting home in Portland rain so what difference would it make? 😉
cold? cold?? but those aren’t even below freezing!! that’s not cold – that’s just chilly 🙂
How cold is it? An annotated thermometer.
