A friend let me borrow a book called You’re Wearing That?: Understanding Mothers and Daughters in Conversation and I want to recommend it to my friends with daughters.
I cried a lot. Many of the points were really hard to read because of all the stuff with my mom. I feel like I learned a lot.
It was sad and useful and kind of hard. You don’t have to be in a relationship with your mother (she could be dead) in order to still have lots to work out there.
